Thursday Live 4/23
Christine Boehm & Zach LEvy
It’s been a good two weeks, ya’ll. 😍
Since we were all together, I had two fantastic conversations with Christine Boehm and Zach Levy! 💜✨
This Thursday you can hear the Best Bits of our conversations including:
🗣️ What it was like for Christine to direct 4 actors playing 150 different characters in “The 39 Steps” at Theatre Three
🗣️ Zach’s experience rehearsing to play Caiaphas in CAP Syosset’s upcoming production of Jesus Christ Superstar
🎭🗣️ A little bit about the revival of Feelin’ L.I.T. - Christine’s Long Island Theater podcast
🐝 What’s The Buzz?! - Long Island Theater news including shows opening and closing 👏🏽
I’ll be live at 8pm this Thursday and you can catch my full conversations with Christine & Zach at 10pm on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts!
If I miss your theater or production during WHAT'S THE BUZZ and you would like to hear your project featured, reach out via Instagram DM (@thekylepettyshow) or via email at kyle@thekylepettyshow.com and I’ll make sure it gets a shout in the next live! 💜✨
Thank you for supporting this project and live theater here on long island!

EXPLORING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LONG ISLAND THEATERS AND THEIR PERFORMERS
Sometimes it feels there is a disconnect between Long Island Theater performers and the theaters they perform in and I think it’s important to chat about 🙃
There was a situation with a Children’s Theater production and a Long Island based theater that was brought to me that I felt needed to be addressed - but I also see this as an opportunity to discuss the disparity between Children’s Theater performers vs. Mainstage performers as well as ALL Long Island Theater performers and their respective theaters. 👀
Let’s begin conversation that is conducive to a productive result! I hope this can be the beginning of that.

THIS THE FIRST TIME ANYTHING ‘KYLE PETTY SHOW’ WAS REVIEWED…AND WHAT A FIRST! THANK YOU SAM DESMOND & SUFFOLK COUNTY NEWS FOR COMING!
We are back, baby!
I’m looking to create a space where we can come together, talk about our projects, and build more community around Long Island Theater. There’s a lot of great theater that happens on Long Island and we should celebrate that. There are so many of us with interesting stories to tell, so we should have a space to share them!
Over the past two years, working on The Kyle Petty Show has been an honor and I want to do it more consistently. It’s been awesome getting to meet so many people one-on-one and I’m looking forward to continuing.
If you work or perform in the Long Island Theater community, I want to meet you! Send me an e-mail or a message on Instagram and let’s get the conversation started!
