about ME? what am i about?!

I’m about good times && GOOD VIBES.

Before the pandemic, I spent the majority of my time singing and performing as I was an active part of the Long Island Theater Community. I started my first YouTube show - Keepin’ It Real with Kyle Petty and that eventually led to me writing and performing one man cabarets at cm performing arts center in oakdale, ny. (Well, it wasn’t on the mainstage LOLLLL they have a delightful little cabaret space to the left of the main theater - THE ONYX THEATER!)

I performed a number of one man cabarets there, including multiple iterations of my holiday tradition - A Very Petty Christmas.

Anyway, all of that came to a crashing halt when the covid-19 pandemic hit. All theaters closed and we didn’t know when anything would go back to normal. In the meantime, I worked alongside Viper Studios right here on Long Island and we developed the very first version of The Kyle Petty Show.

On January 31, 2021 we performed another one-night-only live Kyle Petty cabaret at Viper Studios! I’d like to think it was a hoot. :D

NOW, I’M LOOKING TO REPURPOSE THE Kyle Petty Show AS A LONG ISLAND THEATER PODCAST - I WANT TO GET TO KNOW EVERYONE WHO IS A PART OF THIS SCENE FROM THE COMFORT OF MY OWN HOME WHILE GIVING EVERYONE A CHANCE TO CHAT ABOUT THE SHOWS THEY ARE IN AND HAVING A MOMENT TO HIGHLIGHT THEMSELVES…AND HAVE SOME FUN ALONG THE WAY! As with most of my projects, I never know where things will end up. I just like to jump right in and see what we’ve got!

And this will be no exception.
